Our service.Terna, the operator of the high voltage electricity transmission service, provides its employees and external companies with a Certification service for issuing and using digital certificates.

With the procedures described in the portal, it is possible to apply for two types of certificates:

those in .epf (“entrust profile file”) format for secure authentication to specific applications;
those in .p12 format to access Terna web services and applications with PKCS#12 client authentication

In particular, the certification service consists of:

creation of pairs of Encryption Keys;
recovery of Encryption Keys;
publication of Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL).
